Instructions for Presenters

This page gives detailed instructions about what to do on the day of your presentation. Please read and follow the instructions below carefully. Feel free to email pc@corl2023.org if you have any questions.

Oral

  • All the oral talks will be presented at the Sequoia room

  • Before the session:

    • If your slides require network connection to present, make an offline version of the slides if possible in case of WIFI issues. For example, here is how you can turn on offline modes for Google slides.

    • Please arrive 30 minutes before your session, check-in with a student volunteer and test your presentation setup. Make sure that the projector, and video and audio in your slides work properly.

  • During the session: Please connect your laptop with the projector while your previous presenter starts to answer questions.

Poster Spotlight

  • The Spotlight session will happen at 9:30-10:30 AM the same day of your poster session at the Sequoia room.

  • Before the session:

    • Please line up at one side of the room when the last speaker of the previous Oral Session starts to talk.

    • The order of the presentations can be found here.

    • Follow the student volunteers’ instructions.

  • During the session: Use the Title screen (first 5 seconds) to walk to the podium, and start your spotlight talk. We will mute the audio, and you will need to speak over the video.

Poster Session

  • All the posters will be presented at the Muse room and the nearby hallway.

  • Before the session:

    • If you use the conference printing service, you can pick up your poster at the registration desk when you get your badge.

    • Please find the poster stand labeled by your poster ID (can be found here, NOT your paper ID), and set up your poster 10 min before your session.

  • During the session: We provide a desk next to your poster stand. You can set up your laptop on this desk if you want to show interactive contents.
